2017 Conference Updates

We’re Back! Hurricane Irma may have had us down, but we are not out!

The 2017 FLAEYC Conference, December 7-10, 2017, is still at the wonderful Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando; The majority of our Presenters and Exhibitors are going to join us; Our Keynote Speakers and Sponsors have committed to being with us and FLAEYC Members, Board Members, new Chapters and friends are all excited and looking forward to the best Conference ever!

So, all we need now is You! If you have already registered- that registration is good and you just need to make new hotel reservations.

If you haven’t yet registered- Now Is the Time. The CVENT Registration site is now live, along with the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel Reservation site and the price is still $139. How can you lose? You might even be able to sneak in some holiday shopping time at the Orlando shopping malls!

The 2017 Annual Conference will be held December 7- 10, at the Rosen Shingle Creek, Orlando, FL, including the following specific dates and activities:

  • Thursday, December 7: Leadership Summit
  • Friday, December 8 through Sunday, December 10: Annual Conference
  • Special Events will include: 1) Thursday Evening 60th Anniversary Reception; 2) Friday Advocacy Awards Luncheon; 3) Friday Evening Florida Forward- the NEW FLAEYC Celebration; 4) Saturday Annual Meeting and Membership Breakfast; 5) Sunday Morning Closing with Special Speaker- Ron Mohl
  • The Exhibit Hall will be open from Friday Morning through Saturday Afternoon, including the door prizes, Silent Auction, Lucky Fortune and Exhibit Exposition.


All current registrations will be applied to the December conference.

The Conference Registration website is now live and may be accessed here. This website will accept new registrations and also process any transfer of registrations and cancellations refund requests following the FLAEYC Conference Cancellation Policy. This Policy is listed on the Conference Fees tab on the CVENT website.


The reduced hotel room rate for the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel is $139 a night and will be in effect until Nov. 5th for the FLAEYC Conference. The Hotel Reservation Link is available on the Hotel tab and also on the annual conference page.
