We are excited about our upcoming annual conference. However, we recognize that the pandemic has caused angst and concern regarding the future. Our Conference is not until October 13-18, 2020, and we are hopeful that we will be past this critical period by that time. Therefore, we are proceeding with our plans. If circumstances change and we must turn this into a virtual experience, we will adapt and let you know. For now, the Planning Committee is continuing to work hard to provide you with a fantastic opportunity for professional development and networking. We look forward to seeing you in October!
SAVE THE DATE
FLAEYC is thrilled to host the 65th Annual Conference, October 14-18, 2020, at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront in Jacksonville, Florida. Through our commitment to FLAEYC members and Florida’s early childhood educators, the 2020 Conference will provide training and networking opportunities for early child care providers, teachers and leaders. There will be plenty of opportunities for personal and professional growth for all child care professionals.
CALL FOR PROPOSALS
Conference keynotes, special events, and breakout sessions will cover a variety of important topic areas including best practices for child care business management, social emotional development, language and literacy, developmentally appropriate practices, inclusion, STEM/STEAM curriculum, and much more! Are you interested in submitting a proposal to present at the 65th Annual Conference? We are now accepting proposals (access the request for proposals here | review the proposal scoring rubric here).
Booking within the FLAEYC room block helps lower overall conference production costs from year-to-year, so we hope you will support FLAEYC by joining us at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront. If you prefer to call rather than book online, contact reservations at 877-803-753 and reference the 2020 FLAEYC Annual Meeting.
Jacksonville offers many interesting and exciting things to do while at our conference. Be sure to check out the “Visit Jacksonville” website.
