We are your local early childhood chapter of the Florida Association for the Education of Young Children (FLAEYC), which is affiliated with both the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the Southern Early Childhood Association (SECA).
The Broward Chapter of FLAEYC continues its dedication to education, leadership and professionalism through its members. The following PowerPoint was shared in by the Broward Chapter at the Early Learning Coalition of Broward’s E.C.E. Provider meeting (November 2018).
The mission of the Broward Chapter of FLAEYC is to enhance professional development for early childhood educators and provide networking opportunities for colleagues, community organizations and local governments in order to improve the educational experiences for young children (birth through age 8) in Broward County.
The Broward Chapter of FLAEYC:
- Supports advocacy toward early childhood practitioners and families
- Locates and make resources available for early childhood educators
- Collaborates with community organizations, in order to, provide quality services for all young children
To see each child, ages birth through age 8, receive quality early childhood educational experiences through qualified and well-trained early childhood educators.
