Personal Statement
Having served on the board for the past two years, I am deeply committed to advancing our mission of ensuring equitable access to high-quality early learning and promoting an early childhood profession that embodies excellence and societal importance.
As a business owner and early childhood education advocate, I am passionate about serving the greater community and promoting unique learning styles. I have witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of our nature-based, child-led educational approach. This philosophy resonates deeply with me as we strive to create environments where children are seen as capable and competent individuals, each on their unique developmental journey.
At Kids at Play, we cultivate meaningful relationships among children, educators, and families, fostering a sense of belonging in a vibrant, authentic community. Our emphasis on real-life interactions and collaborative learning empowers children to voice their perspectives and actively shape their educational experiences—a philosophy I have supported in my role.
As I seek re-election, I am eager to continue leveraging my experience and insights to further connect practice, policy, and research. I remain committed to implementing initiatives that enhance educational outcomes, support professional development for educators, and expand access to enriching educational opportunities.
I am honored by the opportunity to continue serving on the board and am excited about the future possibilities to advance our shared mission.
Thank you for considering my re-election—I look forward to continuing our journey of creating impactful educational experiences for all children.
Sincerely,
Rachael Wyman
